Resilience

Resilience is one’s ability to bounce back in the face of challenges, trauma, or adversity. Resilient people are flexible, adapt to new and different situations, learn from experience, are optimistic, and ask for help when they need it. 

Managing Stress & Burnout

Excessive stress and burnout are real issues facing corporations today. They lead to overload, depression, reduced effectiveness in meeting organisational goals, and have a negative effect on personal lives. Learning to manage stress and burnout is one of the most important skills an organisation can instil in their people.

Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness is the non-judgemental awareness that arises by paying attention to the present moment. It enhances our ability to communicate, form positive organisational relationships, and empowers the people with whom we engage. Mindfulness meditation is a superior mental technique for enhanced wellbeing and mental focus, and is a powerful antidote to information overload.

Tai Chi & Qigong

Tai Chi is a low-impact but complete exercise system, utilising gentle slow movements that improve balance and coordination. As a mindfulness practice, it improves resilience and relieves stress and anxiety. Complimentary to Tai Chi is the practice of Qigong (pronounced “Chi Gūng”), a series of techniques that focus on breathing and simple movements that distribute energy throughout the body.

Counselling

We offer a private and confidential service where clients can explore issues regarding the management of stress, improving their resilience, or developing a personal mindfulness program, with a focus on effective wellbeing methods and techniques that can easily be applied to both professional and personal circumstances.

About

Rod Lee has designed and delivered resilience, stress management, mindfulness meditation, Tai Chi & Qigong programs for over 35 years. He has also had extensive experience at an executive level in medical rehabilitation, administration, and counselling.

The majority of programs delivered are to the corporate community in Australia, specifically tailoring content suited to both small and large groups. Both in-person and online courses are available.

An initial complimentary and obligation-free consultation establishes the specific requirements of your organisation, after which each course will be tailored to drive identified outcomes.
